The defeat occurred at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe, with Ugwueze scoring the lone goal for the Rangers. This loss dropped Doma United to the 7th position in the league standings.
Despite a promising start to the season, Doma United now finds themselves five points behind league leaders Remo Stars, who have a game in hand, while Rangers clandestinely sit behind defending Champions Enyimba FC with two points separating them.
