Nigerian forward, Akinkunmi Amoo joins Cyprus outfit, Omania, from FC Copenhagen 

Omania FC today have announced the acquisition of Nigerian forward Akinkunmi Amoo for a deal of three years from FC Copenhagen.

In their statement, Omania confirmed that the 21-year-old has signed for the club and was unveiled today.

“We have reached an agreement with FC Copenhagen to acquire the 21-year-old Nigeria striker, Akinkunmi Amoo.

The footballer started his career at Hammarby IF, and a year and a half later he was transferred to FC Copenhagen.

We welcome Akinkunmi Amoo to the Omonia family and wish him every success.”

Omoo who has represented the Nigeria U17 with 10 caps and a goal expresses how glad he’s to have made the move.

“I’m honoured and excited to join the @OMONOIAfootball family. I’m looking forward to all the success stories we will create together and with the fans. I want to thank my family, friends, and the media for their amazing support. It’s time to get back to work and grind.”
