Jude Okoye, who used to manage the now-defunct music group P-Square, has finally spoken out about the ongoing issues between the group’s members, Peter and Paul Okoye.
Recently, the public became aware of a new conflict when Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, mentioned in an interview that P-Square had split up again. He also accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr. P), of dragging him and their older brother, Jude Okoye, to the EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) over alleged fraud.
Peter responded by writing an open letter to Paul, accusing him and Jude of working together to cheat him.
On Saturday, Jude addressed these accusations during a live session on Instagram. He dismissed Peter’s claims of fraud, saying that Peter twisted the facts to make the situation seem fraudulent. Jude also suggested that Peter dragged him into the conflict because people often expect him, as the older brother, to resolve their disputes.
Jude commented, “Peter and Paul have kids who are teenagers. If they were in America, they could be grandfathers by now. Why does Peter always involve me in their arguments? It’s because people keep telling me, ‘Jude, you’re the older one—go and fix things between your brothers.’ But my family is fine. They need to sort out their own issues, especially when it comes to business. I’ve done my part, even sacrificing my own well-being.”
Jude emphasized that he’s done all he can to help his brothers, but now it’s up to them to sort out their problems and find peace with each other. He made it clear that he won’t get involved anymore and hopes they can resolve their issues on their own.
