I Feel Like The UK Is Very Similar To Nigeria, The Culture Is Not Much Different- Ayra Starr

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr recently discussed cultural similarities and her experiences in the music industry during an interview with Capital Xtra in London.

 

When asked about her observations on cultural differences,  the graduate of Les Cours Sonou, University noted that Nigeria and the UK are remarkably similar, describing Nigerian and British cultures as “very similar.”

 

“I feel like the UK is very similar to Nigeria. The culture is not much different, but I think it’s the food. The UK food, not Chinese, Nigerian, or Italian food, is British food. There was one food that I had that was jellied.”
