The family of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has released details of his burial arrangements following his death on May 11 after a battle with kidney cancer.
In a statement shared by the family, Nigerians were urged to continue praying for the late actor, his wife, and loved ones as they mourn the painful loss.
According to the obituary, a Service of Songs will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Monarch Event Center in Lekki, Lagos, from 4pm to 6pm, with guests expected to wear white.
A wake keep is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the family residence in Aziukwukwa, Ujari Village, Arochukwu, Abia State.
The funeral service and interment will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Arochukwu, followed by a reception at Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village. Guests attending the ceremony are also expected to wear white.
The family described the period as deeply difficult and asked the public to keep them in their thoughts and prayers as they prepare to bid the actor a final farewell.
