Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi was reportedly attacked with both a knife and acid while live-streaming in the United Kingdom.
In distress, she was seen frantically washing her face with Coca-Cola from a passerby to alleviate the burning sensation from the acid.
Two uniformed officers arrived at the scene and assisted by applying a liquid solution to Obidi’s face, presumably to alleviate the pain from the acid attack, and spraying her back with additional first aid spray.
Obidi has pleaded with the public for any information that could identify her attacker, describing the assailant as a Black female approximately five feet tall. She also mentioned experiencing online hate in the past, but this physical assault was a wake-up call.
