Klopp: We must respond positively against Palace

Liverpool manager, Jürgen Klopp, in an interview said they will not dwell on last night’s defeat while all focus is now channelled towards the Crystal Palace in the Premier League this weekend

Liverpool were handed their first defeat at Anfield last night since they last lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League. They were pummeled at the front of their massive crowd by Atlanta, who recorded a 0-3 resplendent victory in the first leg of Europa League quarter-final.

We haven’t had that often so we have to show a reaction immediately on Sunday,” he told TNT Sports.

“At this moment it must feel bad. The lads must go home and sleep badly. But we must prepare for Crystal Palace.

“Many performances tonight were really ‘oops, wow, I didn’t know they could play like that.’ A lot of the players looked really alone in many moments. It was really bad. We had our biggest chances in the end and didn’t use them.

“I know the boys can play better football, but they didn’t do it tonight, and we have to show a reaction on Sunday. I’m pretty sure they will do that.”

Jürgen Klopp and his boys will set to overturn the 3-0 defeat when they visit Atlanta during the second leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-final.
