Borno Central Senator aids 1,720 constituents with tricycles, cash and relief materials 

On February 26th, 2024, Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State started giving out 1720 items to the people who live in his area.

These items were given kindly by Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan, who represents Borno Central.

This means that Senator Lawan gave these items to help the people who live in his area. The items are meant to be helpful to the people who receive them.

The Governor is making sure that these items reach the people who need them in his constituency.

These 1720 items are a diverse set, designed to cater to various needs. Among them are 500 Grinding Machines, 500 Sewing Machines, 250 Deep Freezers, 50 Refrigerators, 100 Generators, 20 Napep (tricycles), 150 Block Making Machines, and 150 Agricultural Equipment.

Additionally, each beneficiary also received ₦20,000 in cash to support their endeavors.

The ceremony to mark the beginning of this distribution endeavor took place at the Multi-Purpose Hall in the Government House located in Maiduguri.

In attendance were esteemed dignitaries including the APC Deputy National Chairman North, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, APC State Party Chairman, Hon. Bello Ayuba, as well as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Head of Service (HOS), members of the National Assembly and State Assembly, commissioners, advisers, and a host of other top government officials.

This event symbolized a collective effort towards uplifting the lives of the constituents and fostering socio-economic development within the region.
