Benue Apc Denies Conducting Local Government Primaries, Dismisses Agbese’s Claims As Mischief

—

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has categorically denied conducting Local Government and Ward primaries, contrary to claims made by Mr. Philip Agbese.

In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, the party clarified that no such primaries took place anywhere in the state.

According to the statement, the caretaker committee of the party, set up by the National Working Committee, has not commenced the sale of nomination forms for aspirants, making it impossible for primaries to have been conducted.

The statement also addressed Agbese’s alleged collaboration with the former state chairman, Austin Agada, stating that Governor Hyacinth Alia had ratified Agada’s suspension and would not collaborate with him on any official party function.

The party described Agbese as a known fabricator of falsehood, who frequently insults and denigrates the office of the Governor. They urged the public to disregard his claims and focus on the Governor’s mandate, which he is delivering on.

The statement concluded by emphasizing that Governor Alia remains focused on his duties and will not be distracted by engaging with Agbese and his sponsors.
