Super Eagles defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi inspired Leicester City to an emphatic victory over in-form Norwich City during their 39 Championship League games. Leicester City earned a decisive 3-1 victory over their visitors.
Ndidi, who started the game, played until the 85th minute before he was replaced by Belgium international Denis Preat.
It is his 5th game for the Foxes since returning from injury, while Wilfred Ndidi was an unused substitute for the whole of the 90 minutes.
Norwich took an early lead at King Power Stadium through Gabriel Sara’s 20-minute strike.
Leicester City bounced back, leveling the score to 1-1 via Dewsbury Hall goal before half-time. 61 minutes into the second half, Dewsbury Hall assisted Mavididi, extending Leicester City’s lead to 2-1.
Jamie Vardy sealed the victory for his side following his late-minute brilliant strike that aided the Foxes to a comfortable 3-1 home victory.
Leicester City now go top of the English Championship League table with 85 points. They are a point and two points ahead of Ipswich who sit in the second spot and Leeds United who are spotted in the third place.
Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are likely to help Leicester City secure a return to the English top-flight league, with 7 games remaining in the season.
