Why ECOWAS Must Stop The Junta In Niger

Putin has failed in Ukraine, and instead of him to eat the humble pie and renegotiate for peace, he is throwing in the Wagner terrorists to destabilise Africa as a way of distracting the West and the world from his troubles in Ukraine.

The West African regional bloc must endeavour to stop the junta in Niger from succeeding, because if they do, it will be dangerous times ahead for the entire West African sub region.

It doesn’t matter if you like Tinubu or hate him like I do, what matters is your personal freedom, the ability to be able to step out of your house and return home in one piece and the freedom to come on social media to vent your frustrations on social media and still walk around free. The ability to run a business, no matter how small and make a little profit for yourself.

Russia is a terrorist nation, and their involvement with any nation always ends in pain for that nation. They don’t get into any nation and leave it better. Unlike the US, UK and other so-called Western nations, Russia’s interests are domination, deprivation, total subjugation and deception. While the West are guilty of exploitative actions in the past and haven’t always been righteous in their dealings with Africa and other developing nations, they are still by far, the better options for Africa to align with.

Africa had tried military juntas in the past, and they all failed. We cannot delude ourselves by believing that even the best military junta at this time will be better than the worst democracy. That’s impossible.
