UK Health Secretary tests positive for Coronavirus as Otedola donates N1bn to fight Coronavirus

The United Kingdom Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Matt Hancock confirmed this in a tweet on his official Twitter handle on Friday.

He wrote, “Following medical advice, I was advised to test for #Coronavirus.

“I have tested positive. Thankfully my symptoms are mild, and I am working from home and self-isolating.

“Vital, we follow the advice to protect our NHS & save lives #StayHomeSaveLives.”

It had been earlier reported that British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, had also tested positive for Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Nigerian billionaire and businessman, Femi Otedola has joined his counterparts to donate in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

The businessman took to his social media page to announce that he will be donating a whopping N1 billion to fight Coronavirus in Nigeria. 

Other Nigerians like Atiku Abubakar, Shehu Sani, Aliko Dangote and others have made contributions.
