“Governor Obiano has shown exceptional courage and leadership at this time leading from the front. As the Chairman of Anambra State Covid-19 Task Force, we commend the various measures announced with his team to ensure that Ndi Anambra is safe and that we stop the spread of the virus in our communities.

“As a responsible corporate citizen, we at M-P Infrastructure Ltd, promoters of Awka Millennium City project are aware of the enormous resources the state government requires to adequately ensure that its Covid-19 prevention activities are effective and successful. Responding, the Chief Of Staff to the Governor, Primus Odili said the time is now for expression of genuine love for one another if the society must overcome the COVID-19 challenge.

“The State Government is already committing enormous resources to battle this challenge but no single government can undertake this task. We need the support of both individuals and corporate bodies to pull through this challenge. As citizens, you are required to stay home and endeavour to avoid all activities that can expose you to the virus. Government has taken decisive action towards this challenge but the citizens must comply with them if we are going to make it through,” Odili emphasized.
