Troops Nab Six Boko Haram Logistics Suppliers in Borno

—

The Nigerian Army, in its ongoing efforts to restore peace in Borno State, reported the arrest of six individuals suspected of providing logistical support to the terrorist group Boko Haram.
Among those apprehended were Usman Gujja, Abu Hamman Dawud, Ramat Ibrahim, Hala Hadum, Alhaji Kawu, and the driver, Bulama Ali Boscoro.
These suspects are currently in military custody, undergoing interrogation to ascertain their connections with the terrorist organization operating in the state.
The arrest was carried out by troops from the 112 Task Force Battalion of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with HYBRID forces, during a routine search operation in Mafa local government area.
According to Zagazola Makama, a source within the state, the suspects were intercepted with an Isuzu truck loaded with gum Arabic valued at N2 million.
Further investigation revealed that these individuals allegedly received various products, including charcoal, from the terrorists, which they sold and then returned the proceeds to the terrorist group.
The incident underscores the ongoing efforts of the Nigerian military to combat terrorism and insurgency in the region, highlighting the critical role of intelligence gathering and interdiction operations in disrupting the activities of Boko Haram and its affiliates.
