Supporters of Embattled Ex Kogi Gov, Yahaya Bello Resort to Rituals to Prevent His Arrest by the EFCC (VIDEO)

A viral video of the embattled former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello’ supporters performing rituals to ‘prevent’ him from being arrested by the operatives of the EFCC has generated mixed reactions.

An X user, (formerly Twitter) Imran Muhammad, who shared the video online wrote;

‘’Supporters of Yahaya Bello are performing rituals to prevent him from being arrested by the EFCC”

In the video, the supporters could be heard making chants in Igbira language.

Recall that Bello who left office as governor on 27 January, is facing 19 counts of money laundering at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

In the charges, the anti-graft Agency accused Bello, his nephew, Ali Bello; Dauda Suleiman and Abdulsalam Hudu (said to still be at large) of conniving to misappropriate N80 billion (N80, 246,470, 088.88).
