Stop harassing Davido over north’s insecurity – Reno Omokri

Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s former aide, Reno Omokri has asked some Nigerians to halt harassing music icon, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.

The entertainer had in a post on Monday wished his fans a fruitful week. Reacting to the post, a Nigerian lady had accused him of not sympathizing with the North over the killings of farmers in Borno State last weekend. The comment had starred up social media controversies as some took sides with the lady while others berated her.

Reacting to the development, Omokri averred that Davido’s job is to make people happy, directing those dragging him to unleash their anger on President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Leave @Davido alone. His job is to make the world a happier place. And he is exceptionally good at it. If you guys harass General @MBuhari the way you have harassed this young man in 2020 (we remember #EndSARS ), perhaps #ZabarmariMassacre and others killings won’t have happened!”

He added that: “Think about this: President, Senate President, Chief Justice, Chief of Staff, Secretary to the Government, Minister of Defence, NSA, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff, PoliceNG IG, Heads of DMI, DSS, NIA, NIS, NCS, NPS all from the NORTH. Yet the North is still not safe! Is that Davido’s fault?”
