Nollywood actress Regina Daniels appeared in a wheelchair in a birthday video on Saturday, 10 October 2026 and said she has struggled to move around freely for several months.
According to her, she had severe pain and trouble moving for several months.

Regina posted the video on Instagram to mark her 25th birthday, which she called her “Silver Jubilee.” She used it to answer questions about her long absence from social media.
“I know many of you may be surprised seeing me in a wheelchair,” she said. “Let me walk you through what my life has been since many of you have asked questions about my absence.”
She did not name a diagnosis or a cause. Regina said the problem began as a minor issue and grew worse over time.
“For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please,” she said. “The pain became excruciating.”
She said her condition took a major turn after the Children’s Day carnival, the last public event she hosted.
The mother of two said she has turned to prayer. “I looked on to God for His divine healing, as He alone has the final say on my life,” she said.
She also spoke about her new age. “It’s my Silver Jubilee. This new phase of my life, I pray to God for total calm. Happy birthday to me,” she said. She ended the video with thanks and a mention of a new home.
Many fans sent prayers and wishes for her recovery on X.
The video also led to online rumors of a reunion between Daniels and Ned Nwoko. Neither of them confirmed it. Her sister, Destiny Daniels, gave an explanation that contradicted the claim.
Regina Daniels has not said when she expects to recover or whether doctors have given her a diagnosis.
