I feel like shooting! An AK47 Silver Gun Shots. I knew him, but suddenly realised I didn’t really know him. Many years ago I met him, but realised I didn’t really meet him. I saw him then, but it seems now I didn’t see him at all. He keeps evolving, making his new version dimmed the glow and dazzle of his older self.
Vibrant and still is, all engaging with a boisterous energy, very endearing, making many who desired and still desire to place him in a mould of identity predictions, very confused.
25 years of marriage isn’t a walk in the park. Like climbing a mountain with dotted slippery spots and curves, only those with spikes and sturdy surface of values, morals and integrity would climb without falling like humpty- Dumpty.
Many have fallen, struggling to get to the first floor of their marriage. Others strived , overcoming the challenges of the first five floors of their marriage.
Getting to the 25th floor isn’t one feat to pride in self adulation, rather one that calls for the appreciation of the manifold presence of Great -Grace in ones life.
Great -Grace, nothing more than it. It explains the strength, endurance and beauty of what was consumated 25 years ago.
Call Mr and Mrs Samuel Monica Umoh “Ogbu Agu”( leopard Killer) The appellation won’t be a misfit, for their palms are blistered already with marks of bravery in the jungle. Today their caps fit, decorated with the feathers of Eagles and frayed skins of leopards killed. The jungle was hot but Great Grace made them victorious and envious today, making them a delight for sour eyes.
25th marriage anniversary! It looks like sips from the chilled glasses of Cabernet, Big Banyan Merlot,
Four Seasons Barrique, Reserve Shiraz and La Reserve.
These are amazing red wines for the bourgeoisie. Their 25th marriage tastes like such. Brewing it to this amazing taste, a lot of sacrifices were made. Nothing good comes on a platter and the glittering of a Gold isn’t natural, a lot of heating , brushing and chiselling happened, so is their marriage of 25th years. Hurrah! Your Emeritus and your amazing wife.
I celebrate you Mr. and Mrs. Samuel and Monica Umoh for walking through this path of life without slipping off on its various slippery spots.
Marriage isn’t for boys and girls. Boys and girls already in it by default are falling by the way side daily.
It is for men and women through great grace defies all marital innuendos, punches, jabs etc. and still stand without taking a walk as seen done oftentimes.
Congratulations! This feat is encouraging to the younger generations, painting marriage on the canvas as a union to be enjoyed not to be endured, even when all odds are against one.
I give you 25 Silver Bullets your Emeritus Mr and Mrs Sam and Monica Umoh. The crucibles of life would always add flavour, colour and swag to your marriage. No slippery spots! No valley and no dry bones, though they come, Great- Grace would aid and douse. In your Silver jubilee, every of your cloud would have silver linings, your wooden, metal, copper and bronze spoons would be “silvered, Goldened an diamonded”.
