1. Prominent figures including President Bola Tinubu, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, along with state governors, House of Representatives members, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), corporate organizations, and individuals have extended greetings to Muslims across Nigeria for Eid-el-Fitr. They emphasize the importance of sustaining the lessons of Ramadan and urge for prayers for peace and unity in the country.

2. Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State introduced a N200 million interest-free loan in honor of Ramadan, and appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Iliya as his special assistant for Arewa Matters. He also pledged to extend similar gestures to other ethnic groups in the state and expressed gratitude to the Muslim community for their support during the elections. 3. Hoodlums in Gboko, Benue State, set fire to the residence of former Governor Aper Aku, triggering chaos. The incident occurred on Monday, with occupants evacuated safely. Deborah Aku, the former governor’s daughter, stated that the attack stemmed from a previous dispute over a goat’s death. The police rescued six people before the house was burnt down. The Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the incident and vowed to investigate further. Senior officials condemned the attack and urged the police to apprehend the perpetrators.

4. The 2024 JAMB exam slip, containing important details like exam date, time, and venue, is now available for printing or reprinting. Candidates can access it through the JAMB exam slip printing portal or the JAMB eFacility portal using their registration details. There’s no limit to the number of times the slip can be reprinted, and both methods mentioned are legitimate. It’s essential to have a printed copy for the exam day.
