Expressing concern over the recent incidents of bloodshed in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau and Tudun Fulbe village in Kachia LGA, Kaduna State, Aliyu stressed the urgency of preventing further violence.
He emphasized the group’s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at finding lasting solutions to the recurring crises, emphasizing the need for decisive government action to thwart the activities of those promoting violence.
Aliyu urged the government to take concrete steps to prevent individuals involved in destructive actions from continuing their harmful activities, emphasizing the detrimental impact on peace and harmonious coexistence.
Additionally, he called on the youth to resist the temptation of taking the law into their own hands, cautioning against actions that could lead to a breakdown of law and order and further escalation of the crisis.
While expressing unwavering loyalty and support for security agencies combating criminality, Aliyu urged them to maintain a neutral stance.
“While we express our loyalty and total support to our security agencies as they are superintending in fighting criminality and crime in our society, we urge them to maintain neutrality,” the national president added.
He underscored the importance of security agencies prosecuting anyone suspected of being involved in instigating the crisis.
