A Ghanaian man identified as Patrick Amenuvor has attempted a “Stand-a-thon” to break the Guinness World Record for longest standing by an individual.

Amenuvor who later called off his GWR stand-a-thon attempt a few hours after starting on January 14, 2024, revealed that his intention was to stand in a place without sitting for 7 days, from January 14 to January 21, 2024.

The Ghanaian citizen said that the reason for calling off the GWR attempt was because he has broken some rules provided by the Guinness World Record.Â
