Senator Adams Oshiomhole has appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
The former NLC president, stated this while answering questions on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
This comes after the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), said inflation figures rose to 34.19 per cent in June 2024.
It was reported that the high cost of living was occasioned by the floating of the naira and the removal of fuel subsidy by the Tinubu-led administration.
While calling for patience, the former governor of Edo state, expressed hope that Tinubu’s policies would yield results soon.
He explained further; “You have to agree that some of the policy initiatives will require more than a year to materialize. What would the president gain by resorting to policy choices that are unlikely to deliver comfort in the long run? So, I think for me, it is about having faith that in the long run, these things will work out”.
