Ogun State Police Command has smashed a suspected cultist initiation procession in Isara-Remo, arresting 30 male suspects and recovering four vehicles during a coordinated tactical operation on Monday, 16th June 2026.
Operatives of the Violent Crime Response Unit, VCRU, working with detectives from Isara Area Command and Isara Division, stormed an uncompleted building at about 4:00pm following credible intelligence. Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, commended the VCRU and Isara operatives for their swift response and professionalism. He described the operation as proof of the Command’s intelligence-led policing and zero tolerance for violent crime.
