NPFL: Lobi and Remo Stars lose away, Plateau United crush Heartland

In a match for the Nigeria Premier Football League, Lobi Stars lost 2-0 to Sunshine Stars. This game happened at Ondo Sports Complex, Akure, on Wednesday.

Despite this loss, Lobi Stars still stay at the top of the NPFL table. Vincent Temitope and Chidozie Iwundu scored the goals for Sunshine Stars.

Another match saw Remo Stars facing Rangers in Enugu. Remo Stars lost 1-0, and this caused them to drop to fourth position on the table. Kenechukwu Agu scored the only goal of the game in the 56th minute.

Plateau United played against Heartland at the Awka City Stadium and won convincingly with a score of 5-1.

This victory marked the biggest away win in the NPFL for this season. Olawale Doyeni, Lawrence Agbor, Nenrot Silas, Victor Makalala, and Harrison Ebah were the goal scorers for Plateau United, while Onyekachi Okafor scored the only goal for Heartland.
