A Nigerian man has sparked a wave of reactions on social media after sharing pictures of himself chilling with his older British lover.
The man shared the photos of them enjoying their time together, prompting social media users to weigh in on their relationship.
While some users focused on the noticeable age difference between the two, others defended the couple, arguing that age should not be a barrier to finding love.
Reacting to the post, an X user, Hay Kay, wrote, “There is nothing wey we can’t do because of money.”
Another user, Jesse Peters, said that people’s pursuit of progress could sometimes influence the choices.
“It’s a mindset that has pushed us to attract progress just anyway that we can; our culture doesn’t have a guideline against selfishness while securing progress. Instead, selfishness is treated as smartness,” the user wrote.
He added, “Such a wonder we have growth to see, may we all find genuine love.”

Another X user, Anon, appeared to defend the couple, simply writing, “Older women need love too.”
