Nigerian Army Stops Terrorist Supply Route in Borno

—

The Nigerian Army has announced a successful counter-terrorism operation in the North-East of the country. Soldiers from Operation HADIN KAI, working together with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), disrupted a supply network linked to ISWAP terrorists in Borno State.
According to the Army, the operation was based on reliable intelligence. Troops intercepted two pick-up vans suspected of carrying supplies for terrorists. The vehicles were tracked while moving from Dapchi in Yobe State to the Magumeri area of Borno State.
During the operation, soldiers recovered several items believed to be meant for sustaining terrorist activities. These included vehicles, spare parts, food items, mobile phones, clothes, and cash.
The drivers of the vehicles have been arrested and are currently in military custody for questioning. Investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest other people involved in the supply network.
The military said the success of the operation shows the importance of intelligence-led actions and cooperation with local security groups. It also reaffirmed its commitment to cutting off terrorist supply lines and improving security across the North-East
