The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and the Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration through enhanced strategic communication in support of Nigeria’s national security objectives.
The commitment was made during a courtesy visit by the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, to the Headquarters of Operation HADIN KAI in Maiduguri, Borno State, on July 21, 2026.
Speaking during the visit, the Theatre Commander of Operation HADIN KAI, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, described strategic communication as a vital component of modern military operations.
He said effective communication, coordinated messaging, and strong inter-agency collaboration are essential to shaping public perception, countering terrorist propaganda, denying criminal groups the information space, and sustaining public confidence in ongoing counter-terrorism operations.
