Man Killed By Kidnappers After Delivering Ransom To Secure Release Of His Two Siblings In Nasarawa

Reports coming in have it that a young man identified as Abdullahi Ali Akwanga, has been murdered by kidnappers who abducted his two brothers in Akwanga local government area of Nasarawa State.
It was said that the abductors of his brothers had demanded N3m ransom to free the siblings.
It was also gathered the deceased was shot dead by unknown gunmen along the Fadama-Ashiege road on Tuesday night, January 30, 2024, after he successfully delivered the ransom.
Meantime details of the ugly incident are still sketchy as of press time but it is alleged that the abductors of his brothers trailed and killed him after receiving the ransom payment.
Confirming the incident in a Facebook post on Wednesday 31 January, 2024 one Muhammad Ibrahim, revealed that the deceased was a graduate of the College of Education, Akwanga.
“He was not kidnapped but he was killed by the abductors of his two brothers when he took the ransom to the kidnappers.
After he had taken the ransom he was shot to death by yet-to-be-identified persons who claimed to be kidnappers. Until his death, he was a graduate of the College of Education Akwanga. We pray for the repose of his soul. Rest in peace until we path no more brother Abdul.” He added
