Last Video Posted By 500L Medical And Surgery Student Of ABSU Who Died In A Car Crash Surfaces

The last video shared by Favour Okpanku from the car where she and two other ABSU medical students lost their lives has emerged.

The medicine and surgery student from Abia State University, suffered a ghastly car accident on Thursday, March 21, where she died alongside two of her colleagues.

One of the deceased has been identified as a student fondly referred to as Ebube Sir Adii.

It was gathered that the students had reportedly attended their senior colleagues’ induction ceremony at Abia State University, Uturu, on Thursday and were going back to the medical school in Aba when the sad incident occurred.

Moments before the fatal crash, Favour had recorded a video from within the ill-starred car and shared it on her stories. In the video, the deceased was seen sitting in the car with red leather seats.

Unfortunately, moments later, the car crashed into the bush and videos from the scene of the accident show the disfigured remains of the car with its red leather seats.

Recall that three Abia State University Uturu Medicine and Surgery students have reportedly lost their lives in an in a fatal auto crash at the Okigwe axis of the Enugu-Umuahia Expressway.

It was gathered that the victims were returning to Aba from the school’s induction of medical students on Thursday, March 21, 2024, when the incident happened.

A source who corroborated the story revealed that, “Three students have been confirmed dead, while two others are injured and are battling for their lives now in the hospital while one miraculously survived”.

It was also learnt that the accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle the students were travelling in lost control and somersaulted.

While confirming the incident, the Corps Commander of the FRSC, Abia State, Fredrick Ogiden noted that his men went there shortly after the accident, adding that the vehicle was an ash-coloured private Toyota Camry.
