The Kogi State Government has evacuated all indigenous students studying in Jos following growing security concerns in the area.
The decision comes after a recent wave of violence, including a deadly attack in the Angwan Rukuba community on Palm Sunday, which reportedly left at least 28 people dead and 22 others injured. The incident has heightened fears among residents and students alike.
According to reports, authorities concluded that the safety of the students could no longer be guaranteed amid escalating tensions in parts of Plateau State.

In response, the Kogi State Government deployed buses to transport the students back home as a precautionary measure.
Officials said the evacuation was aimed at preventing potential harm and ensuring the well-being of the affected students.
The development has sparked concern among parents and communities, as insecurity continues to pose serious challenges in several parts of the country.
