Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) representing Anambra South, passed away in a hotel in London, United Kingdom, after arriving there two days ago.
The news of his death was confirmed in a group chat of senators, who have since started to pay tribute to him.
Just days before his passing, Senator Ubah’s campaign council donated a total of N71 million to the APC in Anambra State, strengthening the party’s presence and influence in the region.
The Senate has yet to comment on the incident.
