Poco Lee UK Arrest: Ms Jorji Details Alleged Dallas Assault

Nigerian dancer and singer Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, is at the center of two separate reports alleging sexual assault.

The first claims he was arrested in the United Kingdom. The second comes from a Texas-based rapper who says he assaulted her and her girlfriend two years ago.

Poco Lee was arrested in the UK over a sexual assault allegation. However, no UK police force, court, or prosecutor has confirmed the arrest. The identity of the alleged victim, the details of the allegation, and whether formal charges have been filed remain unknown.

Poco Lee built his career on viral dance videos and collaborations with major Nigerian musicians.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian-born rapper based in Texas, who goes by Ms Jorji, shared her account in a video posted online. She said Poco Lee attempted to assault her and her girlfriend around two years ago at his apartment in Dallas, Texas.

According to Ms Jorji, her girlfriend knew Poco Lee from their school days in Nigeria and arranged the visit. She said she was newly married at the time and wore her wedding ring to the meeting. She had gone to seek his advice on breaking into the music industry.

She said that after she played him a song, he grabbed her inappropriately. “I slapped his hand away,” she said, adding that he then turned his attention to her girlfriend and attempted to lift her dress.

Ms Jorji said both women fought him off and pushed him into a corner before grabbing their belongings and leaving. She said they drove three hours home the same night. She said she called her then-husband immediately after and told him what happened.

She said she did not report the incident to police at the time because the assault was attempted, not completed. She also referred to a photograph that had circulated of her placing Poco Lee in a headlock at a Nigerian concert. She said the moment was a deliberate warning to him, made in front of other people.

Ms Jorji said she decided to speak now because of the UK arrest reports. “I 100 percent believe the allegations,” she said.

There is no confirmed connection between Ms Jorji’s account and the reported UK arrest. Both matters are being reported separately, and neither has been verified by law enforcement.

As of the latest reports, neither Poco Lee nor any representative has issued a public statement addressing the UK arrest reports or Ms Jorji’s allegations.

Reaction on social media has been divided. One user, posting as @abb419, questioned Ms Jorji’s account, pointing to her decision to call her ex-husband after the alleged incident as inconsistent with her story. Another user, @lildasola217, dismissed the allegation and suggested the encounter was consensual.
