Instagram Introduces Multiple Audio Tracks for Reels

Instagram has unveiled a new feature allowing users to enhance their Reels by adding multiple audio tracks
This update aims to provide more creative flexibility for content creators.
Users can now incorporate up to 20 audio tracks into a single Reel.
The new “Add to mix” option in the Reel editor makes it simple to include and trim these tracks as needed.
The feature offers creators the ability to align audio with text, stickers, and clips more effectively.
Additionally, the combined track will be attributed to the creator, allowing fans to reuse the mix.
This new capability eliminates the need for using external editors to mix multiple tracks, streamlining the editing process within Instagram.
Despite this focus on enhancing short-form video content, Instagram will not be prioritizing long-form videos.
According to Instagram head Adam Mosseri, long-form videos tend to reduce interaction with friends and decrease the likelihood of content sharing.
