If I was the devil, my first victim will be the kids from the moment they left their mothers’ precious wombs. I will condition him to see racial division as a norm. I will not stop until I strip their innocence divided and conquered. It is the oldest trick in the book of Genesis. I’ll continue my infiltration for twelve years. I’ll steal their hearts and minds and call it education.
If I was the devil, my next victim would be the women. I’ll make them odd of ills, make them curse God and disrespect the very radiance of life. I’ll control woman body and rights. When it comes to religion, I will put my plan perfectly and allow them worship Jesus on Sundays and every other six days to worship me in the form of money, gains, and lust. I will turn the Ten Commandments to ten suggestions and make fortune-seeking more important than virtue. I’ll give just enough sects of religion, just enough to hate each other and but not enough to love each other.
And from my final evil strategy, I will make people forget the whole purpose of religion or spirituality. If I was the devil I wouldn’t dress in a red cape and pointy horns. I would drive a ‘lambo,’ have a pretty face and a good Gucci belt on. Basically, I will come in the form of everything you ever wished for and what you creatures all endear. I would not need to touch the earth. Politicians go and change nothing… they are already doing my dirty works. If I were the devil low key, I will be behind the scene and you don’t have to see me. I will normalize dysfunction and call it reality TV. And in this reality, I will attack your self-worth, make it a haughty ill form and I will show you images of fake bodies and make them more attractive than real ones.
If I was the devil, I will make you prey to technology and idolize those who create it and make cloud the number one drug and steal millions of lost souls as they chase them. Now, if I was the devil I wouldn’t do all I want at once. I will take my time instead. I will wait to see little by little and see how exactly how cancers spread. Speaking of cancers. I will feed you tasty foods which makes you ill, then turn your doctors into a drug dealer, selling you pills that keep you coming back instead of truly healing. If I was Lucifer, knowing that life and death are in the tongue, I’ll make knife and fork your executioners. So that you don’t achieve consciousness if your body is sick. You won’t ask for positive information if you have inflammation, if I was to say this my cleverness will be admired. What do you think the word inflammation literally means “to set on fire.”
If I was the devil, I will show you how to really flex. I will release pandemics on the world to give people chance to really care for each other and sit back and laugh as they exploit them and become scared of each other. Basically, if I was the devil, I will keep doing what I am doing. God is my witness! I already control your systems. Don’t try fight against this because for my last trick I’ll make smart people like you doubt whether I ever existed.
Outwitting the Devil
The above piece is the inspiring content of Prince Ea. He was inspired by Paul Harvey’s 1965 version of If I Were the Devil.” He captures all the social evils going on in the world in this 3:38 minutes content. He adapted the original broadcast by Paul Harvey into the modern context. If I were the devil … if I were the prince of darkness, I would want to engulf the whole world in darkness. If I were the devil, I would just keep doing what he is doing right now, Ukraine-Russia crisis, Series of injustice in Nigeria, Palestinian-Israel War, world powers conspiracy etc.
In Prince Ea’s content, he shows all his characters together in the Church maintaining a sacred decorum and an attitude of praying but then in the actual sense, they were unconsciously not in the mode of worship and adoration, they only occupy the Liturgical space without really worshipping God either in spirit or in truth (John 4:24). Not until the 3:34 minutes, so when he (the devil) vanishes from their midst and consciousness was restored, then this reality dawns on them.
Given the reality presented to us by Prince Ea, we must, therefore provide answers to this question: how do we outwit the devil? In a book published posthumously on behalf of Napoleon Hill, Outwitting the Devil: The Secret of Freedom and Success, there is emphasis on the idea that individuals can overcome their own “devil” by mastering their minds and making conscious choices that align with their goals. It encourages readers to break free from societal constraints and pursue a path of personal empowerment and success. More importantly too, in our modern society, those who will outsmart the devil are those who make conscious choices for God. Many scholars call it, fundamental options, where individuals simply make deliberate effort to align their choices in life with the love of God and others, and the service of others. It has to be series of definitive and purposeful choice made for the love of neighbours, common good and sense of good will for all. Definitely, we do say that many individuals and bodies are not making wonderful efforts to outwitting this Prince of darkness. However, we must categorically note here that it seems darkness dominates or is almost engulfing the light. For this reason, those who bear the name lover of God cannot or should not join the queue of those who unconsciously serve or make choices for the devil. Our society, therefore grope and in dare need of God, it’s first beginning and final end more than ever before. Maranatha God… Come and redeem the world you created!
