I Deserve More Credit— Tiwa Savage Laments Lack of Recognition

Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage says she hasn’t received the recognition she truly deserves from Nigerians and the country’s music industry.

Despite being one of Africa’s most-awarded female artists and widely hailed as the “Queen of Afrobeats,” the Malo hitmaker insists her contributions remain underappreciated.

Speaking on the Offair Show with Gbemi and Toolz, Savage was asked if she feels she has “gotten her flowers” from the industry. Her response was blunt: “No. I’m sorry, I don’t.”
