President Bola Tinubu said his government is working hard to make the economy better and help businesses grow in Nigeria.
He talked about this when he met with a group called the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) led by Florizelle Liser in Abuja. President Tinubu said he won’t stop until he achieves his goals for Nigeria.
He was happy about a new undersea internet cable that got to Akwa Ibom State. This cable will help the South-South region connect with Europe and other parts of Africa.
He said Nigeria can solve its problems and make progress if it follows the right plans and works with others.
President Tinubu also talked about his past work in Lagos State and how it helps him now.
He said he’s glad the CCA is interested in Nigeria’s economy. He’s determined to keep going even when things are tough, and he believes Nigeria will overcome its challenges.
He promised to make Nigeria a good place for businesses by investing in important areas like farming, mining, energy, health, roads, trade, banking, technology, and the arts. He thinks these investments will help people in Nigeria live better lives.
President Tinubu wants to do more to keep people safe and help them get a good education. He believes education is important for fighting poverty.
He welcomed the CCA’s support and promised to work closely with them to achieve their goals.
Ms. Liser from the CCA said they want to help Nigeria’s economy grow in the areas President Tinubu mentioned.
She invited him to a business meeting in the United States and asked him to think about working with them to improve trade between the USA and Nigeria.
Additionally, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security worked with the Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning to help 250 small farmers in Abuja.
They gave them tools and training to grow more food. This program is part of a plan to reduce poverty and help Nigeria grow.
The head of the Agriculture Ministry said they want to help farmers because they’re important for the country’s food and economy. They hope this program will make farming better and help Nigeria’s agriculture grow.
They also said they gave the farming tools for free because they appreciate the hard work farmers do.
They want more people to start farming in their backyards to help reduce hunger in Nigeria. One of the farmers who got help said she was happy and promised to use the tools well.
