Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, a former Minister of Special Duties during President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, has been accused by a woman, Hadiza, who claims to be his baby mama.
Hadiza, the daughter of the minister’s former lover, alleges that he took advantage of her, abused her, and subjected her to eight pregnancies for alleged ritual purposes.
She also claims that her life is in danger and has asked that the former minister be held accountable if anything happens to her or her child.
Turaki initially denied knowing Hadiza or being the father of her child. However, a DNA test confirmed his paternity with a probability of 99.99995%. This revelation reportedly left the former minister embarrassed and angry.
Despite ignoring police invitations and allegedly feigning a trip to the United States to evade questioning, Turaki is accused of orchestrating Hadiza’s arrest.
On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, officers from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) reportedly broke down the door of Hadiza’s residence and arrested her and her child when she returned to pick up clothes.
Hadiza, who claims she was entrusted to Turaki for educational support, alleges that he instead exploited her. She has expressed deep fear for her and her daughter’s safety.
