#EndSARS Protest Rocks Ondo

—

Despite the disbandment of SARS by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, Nigerians, particularly youths have continued to storm the streets of the nation across different states to protest against police brutality.

Ondo State residents have become the latest to join the lingering protest as they have stormed the streets of Akure to protest against police brutality and attacks on innocent citizens by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit of the Nigeria Police Force.

The News Chronicle gathered that the youth armed with placards bearing different inscriptions are currently blocking the popular Oba Adesida Road.

They are also calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to prosecute policemen found wanting in cases of killings of innocent Nigerians.
