Dismissed soldier and others caught by police for kidnapping in FCT

—

Operatives from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), FCT Command, caught two people named Gabriel David Elihu and Alex Iorjaa. They were caught because they were involved in robbery and kidnapping in Abuja.

The police got a call for help from two people named Blessing Mafulul Damia and Haliru Zakari. They said that some men in a car followed them, robbed them, and tried to kidnap them while they were coming back from a medical store.

The police quickly responded to the call, found the car, and arrested Elihu and Iorjaa. They also found a knife and some military items in the car. The suspects will be taken to court soon.

In another incident, a man named Akuh Chinemezeh told the police that his brother Pascal Akuh called him and said he was arrested by the police. But when they looked for Pascal in different police stations, they couldn’t find him.

With the help of a tracker, they found Pascal’s car in a place called Wumba, Apo. The police went there, searched, and found Pascal in a hotel in Lokogoma. Pascal admitted that he faked his own kidnapping to test if his girlfriend loved him.

These incidents show the different ways people commit crimes, but also how the police work hard to catch them and bring them to justice.
