English singer Adele has announced she’s taking a break from music to try new creative activities. She expressed her desire to explore other interests and take some time off from her music career.
The ‘Hello’ singer, who has been living in the United States for the past two years, said she will move back to her home country, England, when her residency ends in November. This decision marks a significant change in her personal and professional life.
Adele told fans not to expect new music from her anytime soon. She emphasized her need for a “big break,” wanting to focus on other creative pursuits for a while.
“I don’t have plans for new music at all. I want a big break, and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while,” Adele said in an interview with German broadcaster ZDF.
Adele, who has won 16 Grammy Awards, released her last album, ’30,’ in 2021. This album was well-received and won the British Album of the Year at the Brit Awards in 2022. Her announcement means fans will have to wait longer for new music, but it also opens the door for Adele to explore and share new creative projects.
