Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, known as Odumodublvck, said on Friday, October 2, 2026 that a man who refuses to die for his woman is a fool. He spoke on the In Motion Podcast on YouTube.
“Any man wey talk say he no fit die for him woman na fool,” he said.
Odumodublvck, who is a Christian, based his view on the Bible’s teaching that a husband should love his wife as Christ loved the church. He said Christ died for the church, so a husband should be ready to do the same for his wife.
He said he expects to die before his wife because she is younger than him. He added that he wants her to raise their children, share his belongings among them and continue the work he started.
He compared women to the queen in chess, the strongest piece on the board. “If the queen goes, just forget that game,” he said.
The rapper also linked his generosity to his mother, whom he called “a cheerful giver.” He said he gives money away quickly and that his girlfriend holds his money for him.
He addressed claims that he is a misogynist. He said the label bothers him “a lot” and called it unfair. He asked whether a misogynist would die for his partner.
Several X users mocked him in the replies. One said not every woman makes sacrifices for a man.
In the same interview, Odumodublvck spoke about his dispute with rapper Blaqbonez. The two worked together on three songs before the falling out. The dispute involves a woman, allegations of harassment and sexual abuse, and legal action.
Blaqbonez denies the sexual abuse allegations and has challenged Odumodublvck to prove them in court. In July, his lawyers issued a pre-action notice seeking N2.55bn in damages and called Odumodublvck’s statements defamatory.
Odumodublvck said the truth will come out. “At the right time, justice will prevail,” he said.
