Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, on Friday appointed Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu, as the new Force Public Relations Officer, FPRO.
CSP Iniedu takes over from Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Anthony Okon Placid, who previously held the position.
The appointment was announced by the Nigeria Police Force on Friday. The IGP tasked the new FPRO with strengthening public engagement, improving police-community relations, and ensuring timely dissemination of accurate information on the activities of the Force.
CSP Anietie Edem Iniedu is expected to resume duties immediately at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
