Breaking: The Supreme Court has on Friday 12 January 2024 affirmed the election of the plateau state Governor Caleb Mutfwang
A lead judgment by Justice Emmanuel Agim held that Nentawe Yilwatda of the APC has no right to challenge the declaration of governor Caleb Mutfwang as the PDP ticket holder.
He said the appellate court lacks the jurisdiction to determine the validity of the candidacy of the PDP candidate.

Nentawe, who lost at the governorship poll held in march 18 was challenging the declaration of PDP’s Mutfwang by who was returned winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
