Nigerian Police invites 52 suspected criminals for dialogue in Kano State

The Police Command in Kano State recently took a proactive step to address security concerns in Kiru Local Government Area. 

They invited 52 individuals suspected to be involved in criminal activities for a dialogue, as revealed in a statement by SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the Command Public Relations Officer.

During a meeting with the Kwanar Dangora community in Kiru, the Police Commissioner, Mr Hussein Gumel, urged key stakeholders to collaborate closely with the police to improve the security situation in the state.

He specifically called on the community to assist in profiling the 52 identified suspected criminal leaders residing in the surrounding areas.

The Police Commissioner highlighted that these individuals were linked to the rising insecurity and criminal activities in the region.

Following the meeting, CP Gumel conducted a patrol along the Kano/Kaduna expressway, assessing security deployments, identifying manpower gaps, and evaluating the condition of police equipment.

CP Gumel expressed appreciation for the ongoing support from local government chairmen, district heads, and other essential stakeholders.

He acknowledged their contributions to maintaining peace and security in Kiru, Kwanar Dangora, and the entire state.

Reaffirming a sense of reassurance to the local residents, Commissioner of Police Gumel restated the unyielding dedication of the Police Command in tackling criminal activities and ensuring a safe and secure atmosphere for all individuals throughout the state.

This resolute commitment underscores the relentless efforts undertaken by law enforcement to maintain peace, protect citizens, and create an environment conducive to the well-being and security of the community members residing within the region.
