2027: Delta Coalition Backs Tinubu, Praises Economic Reforms

A coalition of civil society organisations in Delta State has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general election, citing his leadership and commitment to national development.

The endorsement was contained in a statement jointly signed by the coalition’s National Coordinator, Mr Okezi Odugala, and Secretary, Mr Ekenem Omosor, on Friday in Asaba.

The coalition commended President Tinubu for implementing policies aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians and delivering the dividends of democracy through economic reforms, infrastructure development and people-centred programmes.

According to the group, the administration has demonstrated bold leadership by introducing key reforms despite prevailing domestic and global economic challenges.

It said the government’s efforts to reposition the economy are laying the foundation for long-term stability, sustainable growth and national prosperity.

The coalition also highlighted ongoing investments in critical sectors, including infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, security and social welfare, describing them as evidence of the administration’s commitment to building a stronger Nigeria.

It noted that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda has created a pathway for inclusive economic growth, improved governance and sustainable national development.

The group urged Nigerians to remain patient and continue supporting the administration as it implements policies designed to address the country’s socio-economic challenges.

The coalition also called on civil society organisations, the private sector and other stakeholders to partner with the Federal Government in strengthening democratic institutions, promoting national unity and accelerating development across the country.

Reaffirming its confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership, the coalition pledged continued collaboration with the administration to promote good governance, accountability and sustainable development.

According to the group, sustained cooperation among government, civil society and citizens remains essential to achieving lasting national progress.
