Zamfara Govt assures of school security, pupil accessibility

The Zamfara State Government said they will make sure that schools in the state are safe.

They really want the people who live there, especially teachers and students, to be able to go to school without worrying about safety.

The person in charge of education in Zamfara, Wadatau Madawaki, talked about this during a meeting in Gusau.

He said Governor Dauda Lawal and his team are working hard to reach all parts of the state.

They want to make sure students feel encouraged, and teachers get the help they need to teach well.

Madawaki also said they’re doing a good job fighting against bandits. Some schools that were closed because of danger are now open again. But there are still 75 schools in areas where bandits are still a problem.

The government also paid back money owed to the National Examination Council (NECO). This means students who took exams in 2019, 2020, and 2021 can get their certificates.

A group called Civil Society Organization (CSO) wants schools to be safe too. They’re asking for money, training, and better planning to make sure all schools are safe for students.

The Zamfara State Government promises to keep working to make sure everyone can do their normal activities without worrying about safety.

They really want people to feel safe and peaceful, which is a big goal for their government.
