The celebrants, many of whom earned degrees in fields such as engineering, medicine, information technology, and business administration, expressed their profound gratitude to Governor Buni for his generosity and vision.

Speaking at the event, the graduates lauded the Governor’s foresight and dedication to education, noting that his investment in their future had not only empowered them but also set an example for future leaders to follow.

Several of the graduates shared their experiences studying in India, highlighting the exposure and knowledge they gained, which they plan to use in contributing to the growth and development of Yobe State and Nigeria at large.

Governor Buni, in his address, congratulated the graduates and urged them to use their education to positively impact their communities.

He emphasized that the knowledge and skills they acquired were crucial to the state’s ongoing efforts to diversify its economy and improve the living standards of its people.

He reassured them that his administration would continue to prioritize education and human capital development, especially through scholarships and other educational programs.

The reception also featured speeches from government officials, community leaders, and educators who praised the Governor’s initiative as a model for other states in Nigeria.

Many expressed hope that the students’ success would inspire more young people to pursue higher education and strive for excellence in their chosen fields.

In addition to the graduates honored at the reception, another 62 students who are still completing their studies in India are expected to return in the coming years.

Governor Buni expressed confidence that all the beneficiaries of the scholarship program would contribute meaningfully to the progress of Yobe State upon their return.

This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Yobe State government to enhance educational standards and create opportunities for its youth.

Governor Buni’s administration has also been involved in upgrading schools, improving teacher training, and providing educational resources to students at various levels.

The event concluded with a group photograph of the Governor, the graduates, and their families, symbolizing the collective pride and hope for a brighter future for Yobe State.
