Yobe Govt moves against hoarding of essential goods amid hardship

—

The Yobe State Government has decided to prevent individuals from storing grains and other essential items within the state.

This means that people cannot keep large quantities of things like rice, beans, or other food items for themselves.

The government believes that this action will help ensure that everyone has access to these necessities when they need them.

By discouraging hoarding, they aim to promote fairness and equity in the distribution of resources across the state.

This decision reflects the government’s commitment to addressing food security concerns and fostering a more equitable society where everyone has access to essential goods.

They want to stop the problem of not having enough food and the prices being too high because of this.

The person in charge of Home Affairs, Information, and Culture, Abdullahi Bego, talked about this during a meeting with journalists.

The meeting was called by Governor Mala Buni because of the high prices of things in the state and the country.

Bego said the government is worried about people keeping lots of grains and important things to make it seem like there’s not enough. They do this to make prices go up.

To stop this, the government will work with the police and other security groups to stop people from buying lots of grains and taking them out of the state. They will keep a close watch on anyone trying to do this.

Bego also said the government will soon have plans to help reduce the high prices of food and other important things for people in the state.

They will also have meetings in each area to talk about the food problems and find ways to fix them.

Governor Mai Mala Buni wants everyone in the state to keep praying for things to get better in the country.
