Why I Joined APC – Tonto Dikeh

Nollywood actress turned-politician, Tonto Dikeh, has revealed the motivating factors behind her decision to join President Bola Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress (APC). In an official statement posted on her Instagram page, the 37-year-old cited the importance of facts supported by evidence in guiding her choices.

Dikeh, who was formally introduced to the party by APC’s national women leader, Mary Alile, and deputy national public secretary, Duro Mesdeko at the party’s headquarters in Abuja, expressed her commitment to work for the betterment of Nigerian youth, women, and the nation as a whole.

She emphasized her belief in the power of impactful leadership driven by visionary leaders who serve selflessly. Dikeh’s decision to join the APC, she noted, was not just a personal victory but a win for the dreams and hopes of many Nigerians, aiming to create a positive legacy for future generations.

As a passionate Nigerian, a progressive youth, and a dedicated advocate for the girl-child, Tonto Dikeh affirmed her support for the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing her unwavering dedication to the prosperity of Nigeria under his leadership.
