Popular social messaging app, Whatsapp is working on a new way for people to watch videos on their phones.
This new feature lets you go back or skip ahead in a video by 10 seconds, just like you can on YouTube.
It is just like having a mini remote control for your videos.
The feature is currently in the works on some Android phones with the version number 2.23.24.6.
These video controls are to help users when watching something interesting.
They will not have to struggle with that small progress bar at the bottom of the screen anymore.
But only a few lucky people get to try this feature right now and they are the Whatsapp Beta users.
WhatsApp is not stopping there.
They’re also working on something called ‘Alternate profile.’
This is all about privacy. It lets you hide some of your info, like your profile picture, and use different pictures and names for people who aren’t on your contact list.
It is like having a secret identity on WhatsApp.
